MECTW 2016

Green Touches attended Middle East Clean Technology Week (MECTW) at The World Trade Centre from November 13th – 15th 2016.

From the outset, and as part of our company’s ethos and our sustainable policy which we continue to follow, we decided that rather than promoting our services and products, we would spread our green awareness campaign to try to encourage other companies in the industry to move from toxic chemical to green. We are proud to introduce this initiative, that puts business aside and concentrates on the very foundation on which Green Touches was built on.

Under our slogan “Our Environment Unites Us” we created 5 criteria for all companies to commit to, as we firmly believe that companies who act upon these criteria will be able to achieve a sustainable future for all:

“Your participation makes the difference. Join Us and be the positive change that society needs:

• Put health before profit.
• Help to remove toxic chemicals from the cleaning industry.
• Achieve Vision 2021.
• Engender civic pride.
• Embed CSR into company policy.

Green Touches do not need to be leaders in this industry; we want to lead others to a more sustainable way of life.”

Visitors to our stand signed our ‘Pledge Board’ and showed their commitment to the environment and towards achieving Vision 2021. This idea was warmly welcomed by visitors to the exhibition and conference participants.
