Green Touches is committed to health, peace and the environment. The CEO Adrienne Doolan and the Executive Director Mohamed Elmahdy proudly attended the inspirational talk given by HH Dr Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi or better known as The Green Sheikh, on the International Day of Peace on September 21st, 2016. This was organized by Compassionate UAE, at the offices of Brand Moxie in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dr Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi travels the world relentlessly in order to promote his commitment to the environment, spirituality and peace.
His passion for the environment started from the early age of 6 when he went with his father on a hunting trip.
“My father was an excellent falconer and learned the ways of nature from these magnificent birds which take what they need and not what they desire in order to live,” he said. He works relentlessly to tackle current social and environmental issues and has established programmes to inspire and motivate our youth, who will become our tomorrows leaders.
He asks a simple poignant question, “Are we for, or against, being the care givers of this planet which we all co-dependently call home?” He is an incredibly committed man on a quest to save the ‘Blue Earth’ as he calls it, and at Green Touches we are on the same mission.
